Advanced Coaching Skills

Coaching has quicly become a recognised way of increasing and maintining the performance of people and is a must have skill for todays leader. Helping people to see for themselves where they can improve and guiding them to ways in how they will do it generates much more commitemnt then simply telling someone that they must improve and how they should do it.

When we generate our own ideas we become much more commited to carrying out the actions. Coaching can be used in various ways for example imrpoving performance and career development.

Coaching is a skill and therefore needs to be developed, and this course will provide a sound understanding of what coaching is and how to apply the skill. The session introduces these skills, the behaviours and a tried and tested coaching structure making it easy to apply.

In this session we take coaching to the next level. You will need to have attended the Introduction to Coaching session or have experince of coaching to benefit from this session.

The course looks at more advanced techniques of coaching. Using theory such as Emotional Intelligence and Nero Linguistics Programming we will look at how the learning and techniques from these subjects an enhance your coaching sessions.

The session is very interactive with lots of discussion, role-play scenarios and an action planning session.

Prior to the session you will receive detailed joining instruction that highlight the learning objectives and what you need to do to prepare. You will also leave the course with an action plan that details how you will transfer the learning back to your organisation.
