Course programme
A 2-3 day workshop is central to this module with all students undertaking a filmed role play which would result in a stand-alone “Advanced Communication Certificate”.
For the accredited assessment the student will produce a 3,000 word critical analysis and reflection on their personal performance, incorporating relevant evidence from the literature and underpinning theory (+/- 10%), drawing on the filmed role play. Students will evaluate appropriate communication strategies and their impact on others, thus enhancing professional practice.

Benefits to the employer
To be able to perform at the forefront of professional practice expertise is required in a range of communication strategies and their utilisation in often complex, sensitive or difficult situations.
