  • Coventry is a good place to study and I would recommend it to anyone. I like that lecturers and other members of staff can help us with anything and there are lots of opportunities to get involved in take part, for example societies, job fairs and even working at the university. As for the university’s facilities, I would say they are good, I always work good at the library and have had no problems at all with noises, space, and so on.

This degree provides a sound grounding in the following core themes:

Advertising: you will explore creative, strategic and applied concepts, analyse current advertisements and create your own campaigns.

Marketing: you will study concepts such as marketing research and strategy, as well as specialist options like digital marketing and corporate communications.

Communications: you will study concepts such as stakeholder communications and communications analysis techniques, in order to support your advertising practice.

Research: you will learn how to conduct both primary and secondary research and put your skills into practice by undertaking an independent and in-depth study of a marketing or advertising topic of your choice. This will form the basis of your final-year dissertation.

HOW WILL THIS COURSE BE TAUGHT?

Your course will be based on a series of lectures and associated seminars, guest talks from relevant industry professionals, practical workshop classes and personal tutorials. You will also be allocated your own academic personal tutor who will meet you regularly to discuss your progress and guide you on a range of matters.
