Lecturers at Coventry are all very supportive, and my degree content I find it relevant and engaging. There are great opportunities for social activities and international travel that I have participated in. A especial emphasis is placed on employability skills, through mandatory modules throughout the duration of the degree, the opportunity to undertake summer and a year long placement between year 2 and year 3 is also actively encouraged. Very good, academic staff and available and supportive when needed and wider university pastoral care services are accessible should you need to use them.

I am enjoying it so far and I would class my experience as good. The course I'm doing is a very good course I think. I am completely satisfied at the moment. Lecturers are experienced in the industry and teach it well. The university has links to a number of companies in the industry so good links for placement opportunities.

Business school offers CPD (Continuing Professional Development) modules with workshops about CV writing, interviews preparation, communication and presentation skills and many more. Moreover, there are employment fairs on campus few times per year. CU also has nice and friendly career staff that helps with CV writing and job seeking. What is more, there is Centre for Global Engagement which helps with placements and becoming global graduates. Teachers are really kind and supportive, they respond to emails very promptly and are always willing to explain things more than once. Schedule is good as one day of the week is always free. CU has a really nice library that it's open 24/7. Also Engineering Building and William Morris Building have nice rooms and the stuff working there is friendly. The Hub is a great place as well. All buildings are really close, which makes it easy to get around.

So far experience has been mixed. the most important thing to me is the course and this has been good to a point. Most of the modules are engaging and teach a variety of skills and the majority of the tutors are helpful and have great amounts of knowledge of the industry. however there hes been some disappointments. The course currently does not offer training in software, which is a critical skill in order to get a job in practice. The tutors are aware of this but the current expectation is to teach this to ourselves. The university also has failed to fulfill is promise in the 'no hidden extras' promise advertised when I joined the university as this year we are expected to make a significant contribution towards our compulsory trip which last year was virtually free. There was also a reduction in the quality and volume of equipment provided this year in comparison to previous years. So far there has been no explanation provided for this change and has left me and fellow students disappointed that we have been mislead. We are also unhappy about how the university does not include students in major decisions . The biggest being the courses move from the engineering faculty to the arts and humanities without warning just before the course started. The first we heard of it was the day we arrived! This was a move that resulted in our course becoming neglected and isolated from key facilities such as computer suits. We are also isolated geographically as our studio/ lecture space is still in an engineering building.

Attending Coventry University has been a great choice! The content that is being taught in the Civil Engineering course is really enlighting. The various modules included thus far have really given me a good idea of what Civil Engineering Industry is about. All teaching sessions very well designed and organised. However, for most of the modules it requires a lot of extra work outside of class hours which can be really stressful at times.

So far, all I can say is excellent and I am glad I selected Coventry university. Coventry university is a great plane of learning and I am glad to be part of this great institution. Just a few days ago, we had a career day where top companies came to interact with the students. This is a plus for the careers and development department of Coventry university. More so, I have had the opportunity to get placements with the university's Center for Global Engagement which will help with promoting my career prospects as well as gaining the required international experience. Also, the. University runs a Global Leaders Program, which I am gladly a part of as I have learnt a lot and secured future contacts with top notch executives from global companies. Finally, my course runs a compulsory CMI program, which will push me forward towards my future goals as well as set me up a consultant. Tops to Coventry university. Coventry university is constantly upgrading as we have a well developed engineering building with state of the art equipment and tools which constantly makes life easy for the students. The Frederick Lancaster library, not within and online is always updated with constant materials so that students don't have to go through the stress of surfing the web for materials as we have access to journal sites.

The University offers a lot of support with regards to how to write CV's, interview help, especially with regards to what you want to do after uni as well. It has been one of the best experiences i have had. I have made so many new friends and I have unforgettable memories. I have done things I wouldn't have been able to do before such as dance, take extremely cheap trips to other countries such as China. It has opened my eyes to a lot the world has to offer. The always broadcast work opportunities be it placement, work experience or even volunteering. I would recommend it with no hesitation.

I have truly enjoyed my time at Coventry University, I am so happy I chose to attend here! The university is great and modern. The library is perfect for when you trying to cram in all that last minute work, as it's open 24 hours a day. This course has gone past my expectations because we studied thoroughly some topics which I am interested in. They also encouraged me to do more reading about poverty and the colonisation in Africa. Field trips were an amazing way of making new friends and developing skills which cannot be developed in a class. We have also developed critical thinking skills, which makes us distinctive and highly demand in the employment world.

My experience at Coventry has been great. I think this is a very interesting university, fully modernised teaching methods and approach, 24x7 full equipped library, access to all major computing softwares. The tutors encourage us to contact them, regular meeting for groups and individuals are set up to check on our progress and to allow us to provide feedback on any changes to the course we may prefer. However any support required with technical faults, such as with moodle or emails, can take longer to resolve as the tech team are slow at replying to your issues and concerns. It's more likely to be sorted if you approach specific personel with your problem as emails are often pushed to one side.

Coventry University is excellent with great facilities, staff and work. The city itself is small with the outskirts being quite rough but the university is in the nicest area with clean safe streets. many of the modules are directly involved in improving your technical skills and giving you a wide range of ability's. The University provides job fairs with major companies so that you can interact with potential employers. There is a large amount of support for internship placements and also post graduate jobs for the students. Lecturers are all very high-skilled, they cover a broad range of topics in first year before becoming more specific to your area of interest by third year. Many of of my lectures were on theory but there are modules that have lots of practical work interspersed within the lectures.

Coventry is a good place to study and I would recommend it to anyone. I like that lecturers and other members of staff can help us with anything and there are lots of opportunities to get involved in take part, for example societies, job fairs and even working at the university. I have really enjoyed this course so far. The lecturers always try their very best to find us great opportunities, which is very important especially for a course such as Event Management, where hands on experience is required. We have had the opportunity to go to many exciting places such as, Berlin, Amsterdam, China and South Africa as well as many different places around the UK. The course content is very good although contact hours are quite minimal, however if I needed more time with the lecturers to help me with any queries about my coursework or exams, I know all I would have to do is ask. Overall it is an excellent university who try very hard to offer their students the very best university experience.

The University of Coventry is a vibrant hub of life which, in all honesty, is the real thing that seems to keep Coventry alive. This city is run entirely by students which provides a real sense of community to the university experience. There are plenty of facilities for students and the library has tons of options for help regardless of your course. If you are looking for a wonderful uni experience, this is the place to be.

My expectations of this bachelor degree were that it would give me a basis on which to build knowledge. The staff and lecturers are easy to contact and always available.
