About the course:
Do you wish to find employment as Airline Cabin Crew? Would you like to enhance your studies in Travel and Tourism? Are you in employment and looking for a career in the travel industry? If so, then this course may be ideal for you!

The aim of this course is to provide an introduction to the skills and knowledge required to work effectively as a member of an airline Cabin Crew. It sets out to promote good practice in cabin crew by working towards national standards. Successful completion of the course will help towards getting an interview with a national airline.

Course Content:
Mandatory Units:
  • Understand the airline industry and the role of Airline Cabin Crew
  • Promote effective customer care in the airline industry
  • Maintain effective team working and communications in the airline industry
  • Contribute to the Health and Safety of airline passengers
  • Contribute to aviation security
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the arrival process


Equipment Requirements:
You will be required to supply adequate paper, pens, and a ruler to enable participation in all theory classes. Any travel books needed will be discussed in the class or at interview.

Assessment:
The course is assessed on a combination of course work, online tests and external exam

Progression:
You can progress to any other travel related course.

Additional Information:
Attendance is part-time, one day per week.
