Description
This qualification will enable students to obtain a sound basis for Human Anatomy and Physiology in relation to practical therapies and general knowledge.

This qualification is compulsory for learners taking certain Beauty and complementary Therapy courses, as well as being studied as a subject on its own.

This course, whilst demanding, is extremely interesting and informative.


Course Length
A variety of days and times are available to suit the individual, but generally run 3 hours per week kover 36 weeks. Please contact student services for days and times etc.

What will I study?
Units include:

Unit 303 - Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology
Unit 304 - Advanced Pathology


How will I learn?
The course will be taught using a mixture of approaches, including directed learning, independent study, tutorials and external assessments.

How will I be assessed?
Units will be internally and externally assessed.

A portfolio of assessment evidence will be developed throughout the course.



Where could it lead?
The Certificate in Anatomy, Physiology Pathology supports the full range of Beauty Therapy/ Complementary Therapy courses, or alternatively can be studied as a stand alone subject.
