Course Description
The primary aim of this course is to gain relevant qualifications and experience to progress on to the Diploma in Foundation Studies Art and Design. This generally leads to progression into Higher Education.Students not wishing to progress will leave with a package of A Levels which will qualify them for entry into Further Education or employment.

Entry Requirements
5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, usually including English and Maths.

Attendance Modes: Day

Assessment: Assessment is through a mix of continuous assessment, examination, course work, portfolio and an external exam. You will become proficient in printmaking, painting and drawing, 3 dimensional design, fashion, textiles, graphics and digital technology.

Progression Routes: Art and Design at degree level offers a huge portfolio of specialist study under the four main headings of Fine Art; Fashion and Textiles; 3D and Communication Design (Graphics etc). Employment in Art and Design is also possible.
