Course programme

We'll look at the forms of blues tunes, and at historical background. We'll learn chord progressions and important stylistic characteristics. Develop solos and accompany others.

Playing music as a group, with opportunity for individual endeavour and feedback. No. The course is equally suitable for acoustic and electric guitarists. Amplification not supplied, however. More blues, and/or jazz guitar. This course is intended as a conduit between folk & pop guitar and jazz guitar.
