To provide background and an overview of the risk of legionella infection and how it can be controlled in domestic type hot and cold water systems, including the appraising the competence and performance of specialist contractors or subcontractors. This course is also a pre-requirement before undertaking course P902 - Management and control of evaporative cooling systems and other high risk systems. Suitable for: Managers and Supervisors who are responsible for the safe operation of hot and cold water systems and for the supervision of staff who operate and maintain such systems, including: Responsible Person / Duty Holder as defined in L8 - Building / Facilities Managers - Site Supervisors - Maintenance Managers - Engineering Managers

The P901 is designed to provide background and an overview of the risk of legionella infection and how it can be controlled in domestic type hot and cold water systems.
