Course Description:
You will study either the BTEC First Certificate in Business or the BTEC First Diploma in Business, dependent on your previous qualifications.

Description Breakdown:
The First Certificate is equivalent to two GCSEs at
grades A to C and consists of three units:
• exploring business pressures
• business communication
• sales and customer service.
The First Diploma is equivalent to four GCSEs at
grade A to C. and consists of six units:
• exploring business pressures
• business communication
• sales and customer service.
• introduction to a business activity
• investigating fi nancial control
• starting up a new business.
You will study for 14.5 hours a week, which will be spread over three or four days.
Many of our students have part time jobs that give students an insight into modern business methods.
