BTEC L3 90 Credit Diploma in Creative Media Production

This two-year course consists of 19 units, including Research Techniques for the Media Industries, Pre-Production Techniques, Critical Approaches to Media Products, and Understanding the Media Industries. The course is largely practical and work-related. You will learn by completing projects based on realistic workplace situations.

You will need four GCSEs, including Maths and English, at grade C or above. Alternatively, you will need a BTEC Level 2 Diploma at Merit or above, including Functional Skills.

All applicants need a good reference from a school or employer, and will need to complete a formal interview and assessment prior to full enrolment.

Assessment is by coursework and project work.

This Diploma is equivalent to two A Levels. Following the course, you can progress onto a Foundation Degree in Media. You can also seek employment in TV, film, video or radio production.
