It was important that we develop a way to empower people to propose new ideas to the board and for us to have a mechanism in place to turn them into reality. The majority of our employees were going through change and we didn’t want this to overwhelm them. To achieve this, we commissioned Eskil to deliver their three-day workshop to the board. Broken into three separate days, we learned about the impact of intrapreneurship on the organisation and individuals, how to set out a framework to ensure success and also the theory behind their Intrapreneurship Canvas as a way to communicate ideas to the stakeholders. For us, the second day was crucial as it was highly strategic but members of our management team highly rated the third day which was more operational. I am a junior strategist and needed to build my understanding of corporate strategy. My manager recommended Eskil to me as they delivered workshops in Arabic as well as English and I was able to speak to the company before the workshop so that they could tune some of the content for me. They also advised me of certain sources of information that would be useful to me and sent me their workbook in advance that had notes for all of the slides. I felt prepared for the workshop and did not feel uncomfortable. I learnt a lot on the workshop and was able to demonstrate my new knowledge to my manager on my return.

I have been assigned responsibility for looking at the overall strategy of our company, specialising in construction. Eskil gave us an option of different facilitators and we selected a French speaker to deliver four days to us. We completed over twenty exercises designed to build our corporate strategy including branding, positioning, pricing, etc. I really enjoyed the workshop but think we would have benefited from it being two sessions of two days each to give us an opportunity to absorb all the learning. When Eskil completes creating its workshop that also includes elearning, I will be sending my department on this program.

Eskil have broken down their full workshop into 3 separate days and so I attended the 2nd day. This is a very clever workshop that introduces you to a framework for developing your corporate entrepreneurs, taking into account executive, HR, IT, Finance and more. The whole day was focused on you building your own ecosystem and so the outcome can be easily measured. I would strongly advise people to attend. Delivered in both Arabic and English.

I had seen people from Eskil speaking at different events about intrapreneurship and wanted to go to one of their workshops. I attended two of their workshops and, as I am responsible for building the framework for intrapreneurs in our business, this was the more relevant one. It is very clever how Eskil introduce the principles of the framework and support you in building your own. We had been quoted over €40,000 to develop our framework and we paid less than €4,000 to do the same thing with Eskil. This is great value for money and should be well attended by all.

There are many workshops talking about the strategic aspect of intrapreneurship but I always felt that they were light on detail. The whole series of workshops by Eskil were well constructed, mixing strategy with practical ‘how-to’ approaches. The 3rd day was about the canvas and this, again, had outcomes that justified the time and money invested. I have a structured model for helping colleagues navigate through our organisation including political management, developing the business case, and mentoring the intrapreneur. Very well presented.

They offer industry based experience and overall its a great thing to do, I can see there a lot of opportunities for me to work in a better and larger organisations.
