What will I learn?
This course is for those who want to gain a detailed knowledge of business in order to progress to university or improve their employment prospects. It is equivalent to three A Levels and is suitable for school leavers and mature students. You will study a total of 18 units over two years. There are four core units and 14 specialist units which allow you to study business in depth in areas such as Marketing, Management, Finance, Human Resources and Law.

How will I be assessed?
In each unit you will complete projects or assignments which are set and marked by your teachers and externally moderated by OCR. Assignments are designed to improve your knowledge and skills and can involve report writing, individual work, group work and presentations. There are tests in Key Skills.

What could I do next?
This course improves your knowledge and skills so preparing you for both higher education and employment. The College has progression agreements with local universities and an OCR National Extended Diploma qualification is evidence that you have the skills which employers look for.
