The BTEC Introductory Diploma is a practical, work-related course. What will I study?
The Introductory Diploma is made up of eight units. Three vocational mandatory units provide a general foundation, two personal skills units allow learners to look at and work on their own skills in specific areas, and three vocational option units introduce particular topics in more depth. You will also study Key Skills.

How will I learn?
An exciting and challenging approach to learning is adopted throughout the course, which includes directed research linked to projects, practical skills-based sessions, and tutorials.

How will I be assessed?
All units for the Introductory Diploma are internally assessed except Units 1 and 2, which are assessed by an externally set project by Edexcel. Grades awarded are Pass, Merit or Distinction.CLAIT and CLAIT Plus units are internally assessed then submitted to OCR for external moderation.

BTEC 1st Diploma Business or 1st Diploma Business (with Administration options).Business-related careers such as Accounting, Administration, Customer Service, Finance, IT, Personnel or Sales
