CLAIT stands for Computer Literacy and Information Technology. The course allows candidates to gain practical 'hands on' skills, using the most popular software application.
It is suitable for everyone (with or without prior knowledge of computers) and is well recognised by employers and further / higher education establishments.
Entry RequirementsThere are no entry requirements and is therefore suitable of anyone wishing to gain a level 1 qualification.
Course Content
The course consists of 3 modules:
·File Management and Document Production (Core Unit)
·Creating Spreadsheets and Graphs
·Database Manipulation

Within each application area, students will be required to enter and manipulate data to a specified degree of accuracy.

How will I be assessed?
Assessment is done purely by examination taken at intervals over the length of the course.
What can I do next?
Successful completion of the course enables students to progress onto ECDL, NVQ ITQ or the Level 2.
