Course Description
This is an evening course run one evening per week. During the course you will learn how to size and blend tips. You will cover the three main principles of false nails at level 2 which include Tips with gel, tips with fibre glass and tips with acrylicYou will be required to work on each other and bring clients in for assessments as well as work on clients that will have booked in for nails with reception. You will complete a course port folio for evidence.

Entry Requirements
4 GCSEs Grade D, incl. English. (Maths D for some courses). Or Pass in Level 1 Vocational Qual., Merit for BTECs, plus Key Skills Level 1 Comm. (App. of Number for some courses) or equivalent. Diplomas require Functional Skills in ICT, Maths and English.

Assessment: You will be required to do several assignments at home for completion of the Health and Safety module and a Anatomy & physiology booklet. You will produce a course port folio as evidence at the end of the year.

Progression Routes: Once you have completed Level 2 you can progress onto level 3 which covers aspects of level 2 but focuses more on Sculptured nails.
