Course programme
The course will cover the features of age-related hearing loss and how these relate to what, and how, older people hear and understand. Participants will learn communication strategies so that older people can understand them better. We will look at how to help older people make the best use of their hearing aids for conversation.
A variety of teaching methods will be used in this session including presentation, demonstration and practical work. You will work in large groups, smaller groups and pairs. Information may be shared by means of handouts, demonstrations and discussions.Additional information
