An 8 day course (for working with 5-10 yr olds), offered by the Centre for Child Mental Health.

Course Overview

"Counselling with Children"; this course offers a wealth of clinical techniques specifically chosen to develop a meaningful dialogue with a child.

Objectives

The use of sandplay therapy, art therapy and other forms of imagery are included as important communication tools. The course will also addresses the school as a context for the work, and policy frameworks such as the Common Assessment Framework and other key DCSF and DOH policy documents concerned the emotional well being of the child.

All our CPD courses provide a certificate of attendance & are monitored by the Relate Institute’s quality assurance procedures & framework
