Course review:

Available until December 2013 for those wishing to upgrade an existing National qualification (must have invloved a written case study element at examination).

OCR have made available 4 examination dates for the upgrade of a national qualification to an international.

The Transport Manager's Certificate of Professional Competence in International Road Passenger Transport, a level three qualification with the syllabus set by OCR, is required together with the National Qualification by those wishing to operate vehicles outside the UK.

The course is delivered in a classroom environment by friendly, approachable lecturers who are passenger industry specialists. The three day course is often referred to as the International ad-on to the National Course and Qualification.

International CPC courses for the passenger industry take place twice a year in June and December in preparation for the examinations as set by OCR.

Members on courses are supplied with comprehensive study notes and revision materials both during the course and the run up to the examination. Ample opportunity to ask questions and discuss answers is, as always, afforded to members on the course.

Examinations are taken as close to the work/home location as is possible.

Following completion of the course and examinations candidates are extended the ability to contact their lecturer for help and advice on operational practices and problems.
