PTS Rail Track training

This is the entry level qualification for anyone who wishes to work in the rail industry. If you expect your work to involve maintenance or repair of the track or affect track geometry then you would need an extra level of competency - see Track Induction.

At the end of this course delegates will be able to:

1. Demonstrate their ability to interpret correctly the Rule Book GE/RT 8000 Series or Personal Track Safety Handbook (TSH) and relevant local instructions when required to go ‘On or Near the Line - AC&DC’.

2. Demonstrate their understanding and ability to follow a Safe System of Work.
