Building on the experience you gained in modules 1 and 2 of ‘Develop your singing technique’ you will now start to think more about the performance aspect of singing and the relationship between performance and technique.

About this course
- Sing simple songs rhythmically and in tune from memory, using a more settled technique
- Apply knowledge of suitable repertoire to your song choices
- Apply good practice to your singing in order to sing successfully
- Understand the value of critical evaluation in vocal and performance technique.
A note book and pencil for taking notes, sheet music as required and a course book as advised. You are encouraged to acquire copies of music to be studied during the year. Music may be purchased new or second-hand and/or available from local libraries. Westminster Central Music Library (Victoria) and the Barbican Music Library have very comprehensive collections.
