Suitable for: Those already experienced within an executive assistants, or senior secretarial role, seeking professional recognition for their skills, and wishing to develop an understanding of their roles and broaden their understanding of the issues involved.
About this course
1. Award-holder of the Certificate in Administrative Management, or;
2. 2 years relevant experience, or responsibility demonstrating the ability to successfully complete the award, or;
3. Relevant GSCE/O level qualification, or;
4. Holder of a relevant award at NVQ level 3, (for example, LCCI Private Secretary’s Diploma or Diploma in Business Administration).

This is a new course from the IAM! Aimed at senior secretaries and executive assistants, the IAM Diploma in Administration for Executive Assistants is recognised as a Level 4 programme within the UK Government’s National Qualification Framework. It may be broadly compared with the first year of a 3-year BA(Hons) degree course, or first year of a 2-year foundation degree courseThe course comprises five core units as follows:
Assessment method: 3-hour sat examination per Unit. Optional Work Project Report in place of Unit 5 Case Study paper.
