Course Description
The course is for those who wish to follow a career choice of using IT in a business environment and Business Administration and is for those who have little formal school achievement.

Entry Requirements
GCSEs: At least 4 GCSEs at Grade E one of which must be English. (Maths required for some subjects)

• Work Experience
• Using E-Mail, Word Processing, Spreadsheets
• Understanding Business Communication
• Developing Customer Service
• Using IT to transfer Information

Attendance Modes: Day

Assessment: A range of methods will be used including assignments; assessments is continuous with the addition of real work assessment and portfolio work. This course gives a variety of vocationally-related skills appropriate to the chosen option.

Progression Routes: Junior Administrator, IT Junior, Trainee Receptionist or an Administration Assistant. You can also progress on to a Level 2 qualification and this qualification will enhance your employment opportunities.
