WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
The ECDL Extra is an international qualification administered in the UK by the British Computer Society. Candidates who gain this qualification will have demonstrated that they have acquired Level 2 skills in a number of computer applications that are relevant in the work place.

WHAT WILL I STUDY?
You will study the following:

Word Processing Software
Spreadsheet Software
Presentation Software
Improving Productivity
Using IT - To gain this qualification, candidates have to sit an externally assessed exam in each of the four modules.

WHAT ARE MY COMMITMENTS?
In addition to classroom time, you may have to spend some time at home working through various topics, exercises and practice tests.

WHAT WILL I ACHIEVE?
If you pass all the exams you will gain the ECDL Extra Certificate Level 2

Learners can progress onto ECDL Advanced on successful completion of ECDL Extra.
