Join our two-day introductory course and learn how to use AVID Media Composer 7.

Through group tutorials, one to one instruction and hands on practice students acquire a working understanding of non-linear editing on AVID Media Composer 7 (as well as Avid XPress Pro). Using programme material and sequences provided, you work on the AVID from digitising source materials and editing picture and audio through to creating titles and outputting, plus an overview of 3D stereo images and surround sound.

This introductory course is aimed at novices with no prior experience, although a basic knowledge of editing and post-production processes/terminology is useful.

Course Goals:

Gain a full working knowledge of AVID to enable you to work confidently with the software

While on the course and for one month after you will receive complementary membership with LFA networking Filmmaker's Club.

All applicants must be fluent in English (English Language level: IELTS 6.0 or equivalent)
