A System View of Communications: From Signals to Packets (Part 3) - Hong Kong University of Science and Technology

19/11/2016
What I would highlight: Intriguing despite the fact that I beforehand had the knowledge of around 25% of the material from utilizing a PC for a long time. There are around an hour of superb video addresses every week, trailed by a test and programming activities. The programming activities are in MATLAB through a web interface, for the most part adding some missing usefulness to a program. Secondary school maths is sufficient to finish this part of the course and I think you could do this part of the course without first finishing parts 1 and 2.
What could be improved: Nothing.

What I would highlight: It's fun and great. Both the teachers are great on themselves, yet their joined exertion is something of unutterable significance. The points are inspiringly exhibited, top to bottom, utilizing the support of bunches of impromptu recreations. The secret part by Paul is a perfect work of art of intelligent science fiction where YOU are the researcher. The total ANU Astrophysics arrangement is an absolute necessity for any understudy with any sort of logical intrigue. Do this course, truly.

Discrete Time Signals and Systems, Part 1: Time Domain - Rice University

Greg Hamel

30/10/2016
What I would highlight: I observed Discrete Time Signals to be a great deal more congenial than the Coursera course; it presents ideas at an enduring however sensible pace and does not over-burden you with math ideal out of the door. The course is not simple, yet it is not excessively troublesome. The address recordings are well-done and the guideline is great, albeit a few recordings could remain to be separated into different parts. Teacher Baraniuk tends to stammer, however it didn't generally trouble me or bring down the nature of the direction. The MATLAB programming inquiries are prepared directly into the edX site and let you get a few hands-on involvement with the ideas. The last test of the year is "shut book" which I believe is a misstep as it advances speculating over learning. With everything taken into account, Discrete Time Signals and Systems Part 1 is a magnificent prologue to flag preparing that is probably going to be more open than different courses on a similar subject you may discover somewhere else. The stage is set for a more profound plunge into flag handling in Part 2.

What I would highlight: Good course for such a brief period: gives you a technique to basically approach imaginative considering. Motivating forces thoroughly considering of the container. It's just a 5 week course, which obviously is insufficient to be completely prepared in innovative considering, however having gained the apparatuses, now the pragmatic work is personal.

What I would highlight: This is the best course I have ever taken on the web. Everything is clarified precisely with such a large number of awesome ordinary analogies. Notwithstanding for the individuals who as of now have involvement with comparable subjects this will be truly valuable, in light of the fact that even the most essential stuff, for instance, paired framework is clarified in various and fascinating ways. I prescribe this course unquestionably. It was such an extraordinary affair. Much obliged.

Claudio Felicioli

21/10/2016
What I would highlight: A great series of courses about communication systems. All the topics are discussed in details with an engineering point of view. There are two instructors, one presenting the theory and one presenting the labs. Labs require editing of matlab code; I usually don't like courses with matlab assignments, but, in this case, they help a lot, condensing the theory in real algorithms. In this course, part 1, the physical and link layers of communication systems are discussed. I have already followed great courses about this topic, both at university and online, but this is the first one where I have seen interference and equalizers explained so well.

20/10/2016
What I would highlight: The educator was exhausting and given stale, time worn thoughts. Be that as it may, more awful was her self-importance and hawking of her social plans. There was scarcely a misrepresentation of objectivity and it didn't identify with the course. Far more terrible was her shut mindedness to thoughts unique in relation to hers. More regrettable course I even took.

What I would highlight: This course appears to be extremely extensive. I am discovering it interesting and exceptionally supportive. There is a considerable amount of MatLab programming included, which is an expectation to absorb information for me. Preferably I might want to spend marginally more time, however conditions do not permit that. A debt of gratitude is in order for giving this course.
