International Politics in the Korean Peninsula – Part 2 - Seoul National University

Ex-student

26/11/2016
What I would highlight: Poor substance and inadequately conveyed. The Professor was not congenial or even ready to answer imperative inquiries on the course. Clearly no TA or so on was really on this course. The substance was fine however extremely expansive and obscure. No suggested books were given despite the fact that requested. Overall this course is proselytizer, no pointers to different assets given and no adaptability or offer assistance. Try not to do these subjects. Perused a book, for example, anything by Bruce Cumings on Korean history.
What could be improved: Everything OK.

What I would highlight: Extremely thorough course about Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, Data models and Visualization. It is a decent supplement in the event that you as of now have some learning of Excel (tables, recipes). If not, perhaps I would suggest taking one presentation course before (for instance, Data Analysis: Take it to the MAX(), from DelftX University, given likewise in edX, truly great).
What could be improved: Nothing bad.

What I would highlight: Ineffectively run and with no input. Questions with respect to the course were not replied, some imperative. No help in regards to finding different assets. I found the course was additionally disseminator. On the whole inadequately run, poor substance and poor guideline. Should not be permitted on EDX

What I would highlight: This course can be taken at two levels: Verified with staff surveys or non-Verified with associate audits and self-evaluations. For school credit you should be checked. Under either choice, the course is not over straightforward: school credit ought to be more than an extremely favor receipt. It is publicized just like a hard course - 18 hours seven days suggested time duty - and for those wishing to get full worth for cash, that is about what it takes. In the event that you need a simple A, this is not for you.

What I would highlight: This course was fabulous and I am frustrated at the negative remarks - it was the first occasion when I had learned in more than 30 years. The instructors were extraordinary and dependably around on the off chance that we needed them - I found the Peer Review handle extremely fullfilling. Furthermore, there was a ton of cooperation from different understudies - an extraordinary course - well worth participating in.

What I would highlight: Teacher Hoberman, in the light of the Brexit vote and the up and coming 2016 presidential race in the United States of America, needs to, on the off chance that he has not so as of now, upgraded feedback of the present globalization extend. I was an alum of his 2014 online course and adapted MUCH for which I am appreciative. Hoberman requirements to change his course to address the feedback of a globalization venture that is happening now. The present globalization model is a disappointment on incredible scale. The general population of the world are plainly and immovably dismissing it. Scholarly people need to accommodating to the general population of the Earth and propose another model of globalization that is helpful to all and not only a couple select tremendously rich worldwide elements. Much obliged.

What I would highlight: Arizona (EdX Partnership) Came back after decades from being at school. Whats more, took 5 courses through the ASU program and did astoundingly well, which I discovered not far off, I can apply for College Credit through Arizona State University which was astonishing open door for an old clock like myself to apply for school credit while working for my second lone rangers degree at Nazarene Bible College (CO) and my second Associate at Fredrick Community College (MD) both permitting me to apply the 5 classes/16 units towards my general electives. Arizona State University and edX - THE PARTNERSHIP was astonishing, educators were uncommon.

What I would highlight: This course has been of awesome use for me. Since I moved on from Law School I have been very lost in regards to which element I would work with. With the course, I got to be distinctly inspired by enhancing my English aptitudes and I have been thinking about working with human rights law, however I am not certain how this really functions, but rather I will be looking at it. I might want to thank prof. Olivier De Schutter, for the time spent on this course, for the UCL and edX for giving individuals the chance to find out about such an imperative matter as human rights.

What I would highlight: Fabulous course. This was my first MOOC and it couldn't have been a superior affair for me. Before the finish of the course I was doing much, much better in the exams and was finding the readings significantly simpler. The course makes a considerable measure of progress, however is extremely nicely organized and the experiences gave by Dr Schutter, the other staff individuals, the activities and the course materials is important. Truly prescribed.

What I would highlight: Prof. Hafner is a remarkable, excellent and involving instructor. His courses are the only MOOCs I have attended where I have felt as though I was in a genuine classroom - with the prof. I took E&M 1 and 2 - would like to audit and enhance with this self-managed variant. The material (for me) was testing - with recently the correct blend of hypothesis, classes, demos and homework trouble. Appreciated.
What could be improved: No negative aspects.
