It is recommended that candidates have achieved a minimum of four GCSEs at grades C or above in Maths, Science or English based subjects or an equivalent qualification or suitable industrial experience. Candidates will require an interview and complete a skills assessment. Candidates must be in current employment in a relevant, Electrical and Electronic Servicing environment

Content
This Apprenticeship aims to provide the skills and knowledge necessary to be competent to the standard required by studying the Electronics Industry Core Units to meet National Standards at level 2.

Candidates will be assessed through the use of examinations, practical and theory assignments. Assessment within the workplace will be required to complete the NVQ 3, producing a portfolio of evidence demonstrating competent applications within this industry.
Progression
Once complete candidates can progress onto a BTEC National Certificate and HNC/D in Engineering
