Emergency First Aid at Work

Course review:

The course explores the issues relating to injuries and illness that might occur and can be dealt with by the first-aid personnel. The models and skills taught throughout the course are designed for staff working in a number of different working sectors (ie; NHS, Education, Retail, Mental Health, Care and residential homes, Enforcement, Bailiffs and Security). Furthermore to value and promote the development of different ‘people and cultures’ our courses support inclusiveness and the removal of barriers to learning!

To further value ‘people and culture’ diversity awareness to support inclusiveness and removal of barriers will be included within the course.

• Actions in an emergency
• Primary and secondary surveys
• Breathing, circulation and CPR
• Shock and bleeding
• Seizures and Epilepsy
• Minor injuries and burns
