About this course

This is a Entry 3 level qualification. Working in the Health and Social Care Sector verbal communication with the patients and the staff are very important, as is the ability to read case notes and written instructions concerning patient care. Therefore learners should already be able to follow verbal and written instructions, express ideas clearly in writing, through writing lists and short pieces of texts (including websites and handouts). They should be prepared to discuss ideas in small groups during the course. If you have difficulty in expressing yourself in spoken or written English then we may be able to recommend you to our ESOL or adult literacy courses.
