Etching and Still Life

Working with line and tone - explore the process of etching through drawing
from still life. Etching lends itself to the use of strong line and tone and
by drawing, on-site in the studio; you will be able to respond more readily
to the process. You will also be able to work directly on the etching plate
from the still-life as well as from your drawings and for those who are
interested, move into exploration of mark-making on steel plate. Bring
paper, sketchbook and drawing materials and plenty of energy! Suitable for
all levels of experience.
