Course programme
The course will cover exercises and experimental techniques for watercolour. There will be experiments with water-based media and collage applied to various surfaces to create atmospheric mixed-media studies. We will reference contemporary and historical artists who have used watercolour media experimentally, such as Marlene Dumas, Georgia O’Keeffe and Peter Doig, as starting points for some of the exercises.
