3 day First Aid at Work provides candidates with a clear, concise and practical course to take back into the work place. When the course is passed, candidate receive a nationally recognised qualification and certificate which is valid for 3 years. Teaching is a mixture of teacher based and practical scenarios. All courses are tailored to the candidates attending and their working environment.
Courses can also be delivered, for no extra charge, in your work place

Course programme

The First Aid at Work course lasts for 3 days with an assessment on the final day. This is a nationally recognised First Aid qualification and candidates receive certification valid for 3 years.

Oxygen administration and Automated External Defibrillator training can be included for FREE, please ask at time of booking.

Day One
  • Scene Assessment.
  • Barrier use.
  • Primary Assessment.
  • One rescuer CPR.
  • Serious bleeding management.
  • Spinal injury management.
  • Conscious choking adult.
  • AED orientation.(Optional)
Day Two
  • Injury Assessment.
  • Bandaging.
  • Splinting.
  • Emergency Oxygen use.(Optional)
  • Knowledge tests.
Day Three
  • Minor cuts,
  • Dental injuries,
  • Sprains and strains,
  • Eye injuries,
  • Electrical injuries,
  • Temperature related injuries.
  • Heart Attacks,
  • Stroke,
  • Diabetic problems,
  • Seizures
  • Allergic reactions,
  • Poisoning,
  • Crush injuries,
  • Head injuries
  • Asthma.
  • Pratical assessment.
  • Written knowledge test.
