· Course Overview: · The BTEC First Diploma in Travel and Tourism is a 6 unit qualification designed to provide you with a broad understanding of working in the Travel and Tourism sector. It looks at both incoming tourism and those who wish to travel to overseas destinations. The course requires learners to design and evaluate marketing strategies, explore customer service, and gain an in depth knowledge of both UK and European holiday destinations. You will also be required to plan class visit local tourism areas and prepare themselves for employment within the sector.

Entry Requirements: · An intermediate course suitable for those who have at least 4 GCSEs at grades D or relevant/equivalent Level 1 qualification. This could be a BTEC Introductory Diploma, a City and Guilds qualification, an NVQ Level 1, a GNVQ Foundation or relevant work experience.
