About this Course
This course is designed to ensure that graduates have developed skills and experiences which are linked to the needs of employers within this specialised industry.
We work closely with a range of employers to ensure that the subjects being studied are as relevant to the real world as possible. There will be opportunities for you to work on real client briefs and develop your skill set beyond the core aims of the programme.

Course programme
All staff have strong links with industry and this qualification has been designed with employers at the heart of the content. We use state of the art equipment and industry standard software.
We also have a range of real-life projects that you could be invited to work on as part of your programme.
Entry requirements
Students will need to have 160 UCAS points, a good technical knowledge of computing development along with a good reference.
Relevant work experience will also be considered on an individual basis.
What can I progress to?
Recent graduates have progressed onto employment within the computing industry, for example as network engineers, IT consultants and website designers. You can continue your education on to full degrees (via the e-top up option that is available with Rotherham College, or our soon to be developed top-up degree pathway) and also master degrees.
