Study Method:
You will complete an assignment for each unit. These will be internally or externally assessed. In addition, you will sit three Functional Skills examinations.
Duration :One-year course. Full-time programme.
Who the Course is For:
Students who wish to pursue a career or study path in the Health or Care Sector. This may include nursing/childcare/justice/adult care/special needs/social work.
Assessment:
Students will complete an assignment for each unit. These will be internally or externally assessed. In addition, you will sit Functional Skills examinations.
Students are allocated a Personal Coach who will provide support and guidance at regular intervals during the course.
Course Leads To:
The Foundation Diploma is equivalent to 5 GCSEs and will enable students to pursue higher levels of study.
Successful students can progress onto the Level 2 Higher Diploma in Health, Society and Development.
