This broad-based course allows students to develop the knowledge and skills needed for practical work in health care or early years.

What will I study?
Students will develop a basic understanding of all aspects of health and social care as well as spending one day per week in an appropriate placement with some block weeks.

What next?
On successful completion of the course many students choose to continue their studies on an Advanced Level course such as the BTEC National Diploma in Health and Social Care (Health Studies) or BTEC National Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development. *+
