Course content:
This course provides a practical introduction to Business Studies, as a preparation for employment, or progression to higher qualifications.
You will study a variety of business topics - such as business organisation, communication skills and knowledge - which will give you a basic understanding of the business world. In addition, the course will provide you with opportunities to develop interpersonal and study skills and help you to enter the world of work via a work experience placement. You will also develop functional skills in Number, Information and Communication.

Fees Info
The fee where stated is an 'INCLUSIVE FEE' for UK/EU students. This fee includes the tuition fee, examination fee and exam board registration fee. You may have to pay extra for materials for the course. If you are under 19 years or you are in receipt of an income related benefit the course and exam fee is FREE. Students aged 60+ years pay 70% of this fee. Students aged 19+ will also have to pay a College Registration Fee of £30 (or £20 if you receive benefit) once per academic year.Materials costs:
Students provide folders and paper for coursework Students will also be asked to purchase a Text Processing text book approx. cost: £12.00
