Course content:
This is a three year course (first two years at South Thames College, final year at Kingston University) designed to meet the needs of people wishing to pursue a career in Business. It is part of the Kingston University Network and all students will be registered at the University. There is no College registration fee, but you may have to pay material costs. Loans and grants may be available subject to Local Authority approval

Course Structure:
Each module is worth specified credits (either 15 or 30). Students need a total of 360 credits to gain the BA (Hons) Business Management qualification. 240 of these credits are gained at South Thames College, 120 at Kingston University.

Course resources:
All students have access to our fully equipped, state-of-the-art Learning Centre and Kingston University facilities. This includes free Internet access, and access to Blackboard, virtual learning environment.

Assessment:
Assessment methods include end of module exams and coursework (e.g. individual or group work, tests and presentations).

Next step:
Students can follow a range of paths including employment in the private or public sector or go on to study on a postgraduate Masters programme.

Entry Requirement:
This course is for students 19 years old and over. BA Hons: 160 UCAS points including 1 x 6 unit awards or equivalent (e.g. ACCESS to Business, BTEC National Cert/Diploma, Foundation Programme, AVCE Business). We welcome applications from mature students, international students and those with alternative qualifications and experience. You may be required to attend an interview and take an entry test.
