Safe, healthy and nurturing environment for children.
Children and play.
Communication and professional skills within child care and education.
The child care practitioner in the work place.
Plus one optional unit.

How Will I Be Assessed?
During the year you will work through 3 sections ,the Award, the Certificate and then the Diploma. You will be continually assessed to pass each section through a range of assignment tasks. You will need to complete 390 hours of practical experience. You will be assessed through a multiple choice test.

What Could I Do Next?
You can work within the Early Years sector with assistant practitioner status or progress on to a level three qualification such as the DCE or a BTEC National Diploma.

Are There Any Special Expenses?
You will be required to travel to and from placement at your own expense and have a CRB check. You should also purchase the course textbook.
