Course length:
One Year

Qualification:
City & Guilds/CAA Level 2 Diploma in Construction. Learners enrolling on this course have the option of achieving the Level 1 Diploma qualification in one year without progressing on to the second year of the Level 2 course.

Description of course:
Level 2 advances knowledge and skills to a semi-skilled level ready for employment and NVQ assessment in the work place. Extensive workshop skills to suit your specialist pathway are anticipated, supported by detailed knowledge.

Method of assessment:
6 units of knowledge are assessed by multi-choice question papers. Final practical tasks and an online multi-choice exam complete the programme

Progression opportunities and careers:
On achievement of the Level 2 Diploma, any further training has to be done on a day release basis. In conjunction with the Construction Skills apprenticeship this will be the target to complete your training and qualify as a skilled person.

Entry requirements:
