GCSE grade A -G in Maths and English. Mature learners will be considered subject to successful interview. An interest in bricklaying is essential as is punctuality. Full attendance is critical to achieve this award. Reasonable key skills are preferred. An initial assessment may be carried out prior to an offer of a place. Course hours:
If you are aged under 19 you will attend 17 hours per week. If you are aged 19+ you will attend 15 hours per week.

Additional info:
Learners will be required to provide their own safety boots, overalls and stationery equipment. Safety footwear must be worn in all workshops. We do not allow the use of safety trainers.

Progression:
Further study e.g. Construction Diploma Level 2 (Intermediate) Brickwork or an NVQ 2 with employment.
