What will I be learning?

On this course you will learn the following: use of access equipment, working with others, first and second fix carpentry and correct use of power tools. Tutorials are an integral part of the course.

How will I learn?

When you have completed each stage of training you will be assessed. Credit is given for what you know not just what you can do. You will be encouraged to produce a portfolio of work when assessment is taking place.

What else might I want to know?

You will be required to provide suitable clothing, basic stationery equipment and contribute towards costs of trips and visits.

What can I do afterwards?

On successful completion of the level 2 Diploma you could further your academic studies by progressing on to the level 3 Diploma in Carpentry.
