What will I be learning?

Throughout the course you will be focusing on gaining a broad and relevant understanding of the industry. The course will develop and improve skills in subjects such as Worldwide Destinations, Cruising, Events & Conferences, Holiday Park Hosts, Independent & Special Interest tourism. Candidates will have the opportunity to take one additional vocational qualification from a choice of NCFE Cabin Crew, Resort Representative or Airport Passenger Services Agent.

How will I learn?

Your learning will involve practical projects and academic study
including internally set assignments and external multiple-choice
examinations. Assignments may be written and practical. Successful
completion of this course will give the candidate a City & Guilds
National Diploma in Travel and Tourism.

What else might I want to know?

You will have the opportunity to select industry focused qualifications enhancing your employment prospects, such as Air Cabin Crew, Resort Representative and Airport Passenger Services Agent.

What can I do afterwards?

You can progress to a Higher Education course e.g. Foundation
Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management at South Devon
College or gain employment in the travel and tourism sector.
