Aim of course
The aim of the course is to provide knowledge, understanding and skills for learners to secure a job in the equine industry or enable further study on a Foundation Degree.
What will the course involve?
Students will cover 18 subjects including ? husbandry, stable skills, work experience, animal biology, anatomy and physiology, behaviour and welfare, event management, fitness and training, competition grooming, practical equitation, rehabilitation and therapy, equestrian teaching, nutrition, health and racing. A non-riding route is available.
What can I do afterwards?
Students can look to progress onto a Foundation Degree, British Horse Society stage 4 or career in the industry.
