Course content:
For those who want to develop strong skills in audio and sound and who wish to work in broadcasting. Students will be able to work with Radio professionals and produce scripts, factual or music programmes as part of the course. They can then progress to a degree in Broadcasting or one in sound or audio technique.
This demanding course gives you the opportunity to develop skills in radio, music and production of commercials as well as sound for film and television and interview and presentation techniques. If you enjoy working in creative teams and have the ability to succeed under pressure, this is the course for you.

Course Structure:
This is a 2 year course.

Course resources:
fully equipped radio studion, TV studio, apple mac suite running Final Cut Pro, Audition and Audacity software etc. Selection of M Audio & related equipment, microphones & recording equipment.

Assessment:
100% course work (essays, DVS/Reports/Presentations and the like)

The fee where stated is an 'INCLUSIVE FEE' for UK/EU students. This fee includes the tuition fee, examination fee and exam board registration fee. You may have to pay extra for materials for the course. If you are under 19 years or you are in receipt of an income related benefit the course and exam fee is FREE. Students aged 60+ years pay 70% of this fee. Students aged 19+ will also have to pay a College Registration Fee of £30 (or £20 if you receive benefit) once per academic year.Materials costs:
Approximately £50 for text books, work books, CDs
