Duration: 1 year in each level
Course Level: Level 1 & 2
This qualification allows students to climb the first step of the catering career ladder offering them practical hands on experience in a realistic working environment.

What will I study?
The majority of the time students will be working in our state-of-the-art training kitchen and restaurant developing their skills to national standards.
During the course students will also be expected to gain experience from part-time employment in the industry.
On successful completion of Level 1 students may progress on to the Level 2 programme.

What next?
Many students choose to enter employment after completing their Level 2 studies and most find employment straight away; however this course is also an excellent progression route into Higher Education.
