You will be able to participate on an Employability and Personal Development course at either EL3 or Level 1. During this course you will be developing your confidence, life skills, experience of team work, communication skills, motivation and personal goals. There is also an emphasis around making plans for future progression, with a significant amount of 1:1 support and guidance. Throughout the programme you will be offered a variety of opportunities to try out tasters across the curriculum areas at the college where possible. As well as the employability programme, students are expected to gain a Level 1 or 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy and an IT qualification.

Is this course for you
The Pathway to Employment programme is designed for young people who have left school with low GCSEs or those who want to try a practical skill. At the end of the course you will receive a recognised qualification and the opportunity to progress to employment or further training.

Duration
10 weeks to a year - depending on individual requirements.

What will you study
