Course content:
If you are just starting your career in engineering and already have a job then our NVQ in Performing Engineering Operations is the right qualification.
It is based on national industry standards, making it extremely relevant to today's jobs. Level 1 provides an introduction to the skills needed in the engineering industry. Units include things such as: Working safely in an engineering environment, enveloping yourself and working with other people in engineering.

Course Structure:
Candidates must complete three mandatory units, plus three units from the optional units (Six units in total) The specialist pathways (optional units) will be Plumbing and electrical Installation.

Course resources:
Fully equipped specialist workshops. All students have access to our fully equipped state of the art learning centre. This included free internet access.

Next step:
Specialising in Plumbing or Electrical discipline or progressing to a higher level course in Construction.

Fees Info
The fee where stated is an 'INCLUSIVE FEE' for UK/EU students. This fee includes the tuition fee, examination fee and exam board registration fee. You may have to pay extra for materials for the course. If you are under 19 years or you are in receipt of an income related benefit the course and exam fee is FREE. Students aged 60+ years pay 70% of this fee. Students aged 19+ will also have to pay a College Registration Fee of £30 (or £20 if you receive benefit) once per academic year.Materials costs:
The tutor will advise you about any materials costs.
