Course content:
This course is for experienced plumbers who need a qualification or for students that meet the level 2 entry requirements.
You will learn about working safely, installing, testing and maintaining plumbing pipe systems, materials and components, copper, plastic and steel pipes, lead work, rain water systems, controls, storage vessels and appliances, hand tools, joining by heat, compression, threaded fittings and solvents, install bathroom, central heading and sanitation equipment.

Course Structure:
A mix of practical work, formal lessons, assignments, demonstrations.

Course resources:
well equipped plumbing workshops. All students have access to our fully equipped state of the art learning centre. This included free internet access.

Assessment:
continuous practical assessment and City & Guilds examinations.

Employment or a level 3 course.

Fees Info
The fee where stated is an 'INCLUSIVE FEE' for UK/EU students. This fee includes the tuition fee, examination fee and exam board registration fee. You may have to pay extra for materials for the course. If you are under 19 years or you are in receipt of an income related benefit the course and exam fee is FREE. Students aged 60+ years pay 70% of this fee. Students aged 19+ will also have to pay a College Registration Fee of £30 (or £20 if you receive benefit) once per academic year.Materials costs:
The tutor will advise you about any materials costs.
